Unique Experiences in Chicago in February
If you’re looking for unique and fun experiences in Chicago that aren’t typical checkout this list! I’m going to start sharing more lists like this if you’re looking for fun things to do that aren’t #basic.
Wine Tasting at Mavens & Aficionados | 2/22 - $50: Taste white wines of Australia knowing all proceeds will be donated to wildfire recovery efforts. Mavens & Aficionados is Maple & Ash’s wine club.
Wine Tasting at Spiaggia | 2/18 - $50: Interactive wine testing lead by the restaurants Sommeliers. The tasting will feature six wines (red, white and sparkling) and small bites.
A Very Avec Pizza Party | 2/24 - $55: Avec, one of my favorite restaurants in the city is doing a monthly series that highlights chefs in Chicago and features a signature pizza. This months special guest is Honey Butter Fried Chicken. Both food and wine are included.
Private Pasta Making Class at Tortello - $125: Homemade pasta making from this new-ish spot on Division in Wicker Park. Ticket includes pasta making and a 3 course family-style meal. There is also availability for this at the new Time Out Chicago space in the West Loop!
Sky Yoga at the John Hancock Building - $20: Every Saturday morning you can take a yoga class on the 94th floor.
Tipping the Scale at Lululemon Lincoln Park | 2/23 - $40: The lululemon in Lincoln Park now has a cafe and workout studios. On 2/23 they’re doing a 45 minute strength workout with The Lunge Ladies followed by healthy snacks and a panel on health/nutrition.
