Chicago Brunch Spots

Brunch is one of the best parts of the weekend...at least we think so :)  Who doesn’t love a mid-day meal that can consist of breakfast and/or lunch?! There are soo many great brunch spots in the city but here are some of my faves:

The Bristol (Bucktown)

2152 N Damen Ave

This is a great neighborhood gem that I would recommend for brunch or dinner. If you go for brunch, you must get the sticky bun to share, eggs benedict and the smoked salmon boar! They are all so good!

3 Arts Club Cafe (Gold Coast)

1300 N Dearborn Pkwy

Located in the Restoration Hardware store so of course this restaurant is gorgeous (as you can see in the main pic above). If you’re looking for a beautiful setting or to impress out of towners, this is the brunch place for you!

Beatrix (River North & West Loop)

River North: 519 N Clark St West Loop: 834 W Fulton Market

One of my go-to brunch spots since I always know that the food will be good and consistent.  My hands down favorite thing on the menu is the mushroom and quinoa burger (I add avocado) which is only available at lunch/brunch. If I’m going for a healthier option I pick the enlightened Caesar and add salmon.

Cabra (West Loop)

200 N Green St

This new restaurant by Stephanie Izard is on the rooftop of the Hoxton hotel. The cuisine is Peruvian and I was blown away by how delicious each dish was. We got the quinoa and tuna salad, sourdough Peruvian toast (french toast) and salmon hash.

City Mouse (West Loop)

311 N Morgan St

By the same chefs as Giant, City Mouse is in the lobby of the Ace Hotel. Must get the avocado toast, cinnamon roll and a latte. They also have a nice outdoor area with fire pits.

Little Goat Diner (West Loop)

820 W Randolph St

When you want comfort food and don’t care about the amount of calories you will consume, go here. Everything on the menu is so good but a few of my favorites are the machos nachos, the fat club and I always like to hear what the blueplate special is.

What are your favorite brunch spots?
